How will I know it’s time for euthanasia?
When it comes to euthanasia, the final deciding factor is your pet’s quality of life. If your pet is in pain or has little or no quality of life left, euthanasia can be considered an act of kindness to end their suffering.

Can I stay with my pet during the euthanasia procedure?
Yes, you are most welcome to stay with your pet during the procedure, but the choice is yours. If you think being present will be too difficult for you, please know that a member of our team will be there with your pet when the euthanasia drug is being administered. You beloved companion will never be left alone.
What happens during euthanasia?
Your pet will not feel any pain during the procedure. We start with a sedative to help your pet relax. This is when you can say your goodbyes. When the time comes, the veterinarian will administer the euthanasia drug intravenously. This drug will gently cause your pet’s heart to stop beating.
