Rabbits are extremely playful, active and sociable creatures that make excellent pets. There is one important thing to keep in mind, however. People sometimes believe that rabbits that do not need much attention; but think again; they actually need as much love and attention as cats and dogs.

Does my rabbit need any vaccines?

No, there are no vaccines for pet rabbits.

What do rabbits eat?

A rabbit’s diet is composed of three types of food: hay, fresh vegetables and feed.

Do I need to have my rabbit spayed or neutered?

Even rabbits who live alone should be spayed or neutered. Sterilizing rabbits helps to eliminate the risk of uterine cancer, which is very common in females. Neutering males can help to control certain behavioural problems including urine marking.
